A tall bottle dipped in glaze to the shoulder and no further. Above the line the surface is a glossy white; below it the stoneware is left bare, either a cool grey or a warm speckled body depending on the clay of that run.
The glaze line is dipped by hand, so it sits a few millimetres higher or lower from piece to piece and is never perfectly level. That is the intended look, not a fault.
