Thrown in red earthenware in a workshop outside Porto that has made jugs since the 1960s, then covered in a tin glaze that hides the red clay everywhere except the unglazed foot. The rose is reduced because the workshop is retiring that glaze; the cream continues.
Earthenware is softer than stoneware. It chips more easily and it is not oven safe. It pours very well, which is the reason it is here.
