Rough cubes cut from offcuts of whatever stone the mason worked that month, honed on all faces and left with their natural colour. A set is a mix; you do not choose the stones, and the photograph is representative rather than exact.
They are paperweights because that is what most people use them for. They also prop a door, hold a card upright and sit on a shelf doing nothing.
